Radio Espoir 91.1 FM
In 1999, the Malian government granted the churches of Mali, through the ACCM (Association for Christian Communication in Mali) a FM frequency license for a Christian FM radio station for Bamako. Gospel Missionary Union & KGBI-FM partnered with the Malian church and the ACCM to make the dream of Christian FM radio in Bamako, Mali a reality. This Christian FM radio station was called “Radio Espoir” (Radio Hope) as it brings hope to hundreds of thousands that tune in to hear a culturally relevant Gospel message.
“Radio Espoir” benefit to the Christian community and effectiveness is well documented. It is a very valuable tool to the more than 50 churches of Bamako, and to the thousands of individuals who listen.
