FM Radio

Communication is essential to rural development. With this in mind, rural radio is the most inexpensive, popular and socio-culturally appropriate means of communication in Africa. It is also the most accessible to the population. Radio is the most widely used medium in Africa today and the country of Mali is no exception with their oral tradition achieving sustainable development.

The ACCM (Association Chrétienne de la Communication an Mali) is making a significant and strategic contribution in Christian education and biblically based community development. The ACCM through an exemplary model of partnership between the local church and their community has facilitated the organizing, setting up and establishment of over 40 community FM radio stations.
